Crystal Lister is an Operational Psychology Specialist at NASA’s Johnson Space Center and the founder of Mommy and Me: The Listers, where she creates engaging STEM experiences that spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of innovators. With a strong background in education and human performance, Crystal specializes in designing large-scale STEM events, hands-on learning experiences, and community-based programming that make science exciting and accessible for all learners—especially those in underserved communities.

With a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and more than a decade of experience working with disadvantaged scholars, Crystal combines data-driven strategies with high-energy, hands-on STEM activities to create unforgettable learning environments that captivate students and families alike. Her work bridges education, psychology, and experiential learning to help young minds see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and explorers.

Through her innovative outreach and commitment to community impact, Crystal’s efforts have reached thousands of students and families. In recognition of her leadership and dedication, she has received a Congressional Proclamationand was honored with her own day in the City of Houston for her outstanding contributions to STEM education and community empowerment.

Krissy is a brilliant young scientist with a passion for discovery!

Although Krissy is a first grader, she consistently performs well beyond her grade level. With an exceptionally high Lexile reading level, she demonstrates comprehension and curiosity comparable to students several years older. Her love for learning shows in everything she does—from reading and exploring new ideas to experimenting in the kitchen and the lab.

Krissy has already mastered many early academic milestones and continues to grow rapidly in her learning journey. She recognizes shapes, letters, and sounds with ease, reads independently, and enjoys tackling concepts often introduced at the second- and third-grade level. She can also count confidently in English and Spanish, showcasing her excitement for language and numbers.

One of Krissy’s favorite activities—besides cooking—is conducting hands-on science experiments, where she shines as the co-star of the Mommy and Me: The Listers (MAMTL) YouTube channel. Through fun experiments and curiosity-driven exploration, Krissy helps inspire other children to see that science is exciting, creative, and for everyone.

Krissy truly wows everyone she meets with her intelligence, confidence, and enthusiasm for STEM.

Kinsley is a blossoming 5-year-old who loves to jump right into the learning fun!

Following in the footsteps of her older sister, Kinsley enjoys exploring shapes, letters, and early learning concepts while eagerly participating in every hands-on activity she can.

Kinsley is an aspiring engineer and firefighter, always ready to investigate, build, and explore how things work. She especially loves science experiments that allow her to get messy and creative. Her absolute favorite activity is the classic baking soda and vinegar reaction, along with other sensory play experiments that bubble, fizz, splash, and surprise.

Whether she’s experimenting, asking questions, or popping into the camera frame, Kinsley makes sure her presence is known. She loves being part of the excitement and proudly joins the fun as one of the energetic young learners featured with Mommy and Me: The Listers (MAMTL).

Kinsley’s curiosity, imagination, and fearless approach to messy science make her a little innovator in the making.
